Zenith Carex
Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 August 2026
1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of Zenith Carex logistics services and our applications — Zenith Carex for customers and Zenith Driver for our delivery staff. By creating an account or booking a shipment you accept them.
2. Accounts
Customer accounts are created by Zenith Carex branch staff or by our team. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity carried out under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe it has been used without your permission.
Corporate and haulage accounts may register shipments directly, including in bulk. Regular accounts book shipments at a branch.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app, or from our account deletion page. Deletion is described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Our services
We collect, transport and deliver parcels and freight within Nigeria, and provide customs clearing and haulage services. Delivery estimates are estimates. We will always tell you what has happened to a shipment, but we do not guarantee a delivery time unless we have agreed one with you in writing.
4. What we will not carry
You must not send, and we will not knowingly accept, any of the following:
- Cash, negotiable instruments or bullion
- Illegal drugs, narcotics or controlled substances
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives or their components
- Flammable, corrosive, radioactive or otherwise hazardous materials
- Live animals, and human remains or body parts
- Counterfeit goods, or anything whose possession or transport is unlawful in Nigeria
- Perishable goods, unless we have agreed the arrangements in advance
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you tell us a parcel contains. We may open and inspect any shipment where we reasonably suspect these terms have been broken, or where the law or a regulator requires it. We may refuse or return a shipment, and we may report it to the authorities.
5. Packaging and description
Parcels must be packed well enough to survive normal handling. Declare contents and weight accurately — charges are based on them, and an inaccurate declaration may invalidate a claim.
6. Charges and payment
Charges are quoted when a shipment is booked and depend on weight, destination and service. Corporate accounts with invoice terms are billed on a monthly statement; other customers pay at the point of booking or before delivery.
Card payments in the app are processed by Paystack. We do not receive or store your card details. Where a payment fails or is reversed, the charge remains payable.
7. Delivery
We deliver to the address given, to the named recipient or another person at that address who appears authorised to accept it. We record proof of delivery, which may include the recipient's name, a signature, a photograph and the location at which delivery was completed.
Where delivery cannot be completed we will attempt to contact you. Shipments that cannot be delivered or returned may be held at a branch, and storage charges may apply.
8. Loss, damage and claims
We take reasonable care of everything we carry. Where a shipment is lost or damaged while in our custody, our liability is limited to the amount stated in the terms quoted to you when the shipment was booked, unless you arranged additional cover in advance.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or business, or for delay where it results from circumstances outside our reasonable control — including weather, road conditions, civil disturbance, industrial action, or action by customs, police or other authorities.
Claims must be made in writing within the period stated in the terms quoted to you, and we may require evidence of the value of the contents. Contact [email protected] or raise a support ticket in the app.
9. Customs clearing and haulage
Where we act for you in clearing goods through customs, you are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the documents and declarations you provide, and for duties, taxes and charges levied. Delays and costs caused by incorrect or missing documentation are not our responsibility.
10. Using our apps
Use the apps only for their intended purpose. Do not attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, interfere with the service, or extract data from it by automated means. We may suspend an account that is being used in breach of these terms.
The Zenith Driver app is for Zenith Carex staff and contractors and may only be used in connection with your work for us.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account where these terms are broken, where charges remain unpaid, or where we are required to do so. You may close your account at any time; outstanding charges and shipments already in transit are unaffected by closure.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always published on this page with the date it took effect, and significant changes will be notified in the apps.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
